Print Journalism
Until 1997, Howard Sounes was a national newspaper reporter,
latterly for the Daily Mirror in London. He resigned from the Mirror in the summer of 1997 and has worked full-time on books ever since, researching his subjects in great detail, and taking a similar amount of time and care over the writing.
Mr. Sounes does, however, occasionally write for magazines
and newspapers, on subjects relating to his areas of special interest.
His work has
appeared in The [London] Times, Chicago-Sun
Times, The [Canadian] National
Post, The [Australian] Courier
Mail, Reader's Digest, The Scotsman, Yorkshire
Post, Mail on Sunday, Irish Independent, and Guardian.
